Our children grow up way too soon for our liking :( Illustrated by my experience today with my child.
The above ad is a popular one aired in the Middle East for a chain of stores by the Landmark group that goes by the name of Centrepoint. In these 30 seconds, for a fleeting moment they show a woman admiring a pair of shoes :)
My 4.5 year old son saw the ad and said for the first time ever -
'Amma, I will buy you those shoes'. And I asked him when, and he said
'On Monday'.
And then.. I just stared and stared at him. Wasn't he a little baby playing in my arms just a while ago - WHEN did he grow up this much?? I love him more and more as the days speed past us, but really, I wish he was a little baby all over again for me to relish :) Sigh :)

About 2-3 years back, Sandhya took me to Aldo showroom in Ibn-Batuta Mall on my birthday, she held my hand whilst crossing the road and bought a fine pair of Aldo shoes for me.
Samarth will do the same after some years
